A good teacher
I like a teacher who gives you something to take home to think about besides homework. ~Lily Tomlin as "Edith Ann"

Slow Dance
S L O W D A N C E:
Have you ever watched kids
on a merry-go-round
Or listened to the rain
slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic
flight
Or gazed at the sun into the fading
night?
You better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last
Do you run through each day on the
fly
When you ask "How are you?"
do you hear the reply?
When the day is done,
do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last
Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow
And in your haste, not see his
sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
'Cause you never had time
to call and say "Hi"?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting
there.
When you worry and hurry through your
day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away...
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.
Dear All,
PLEASE pass this mail on to everybody you know.It is the request of a little girl who will soon leave this world as she has been a victim of the terrible disease called CANCER.
Thank you for your effort, this isn't a chain letter, but a choice for all of us to save a little girl who's dying of a serious and fatal form of cancer. Please send this to everyone you know...or don't know.
This little girl has 6 months left to live, and as her dying wish, she wanted to tell everyone to live their life to fullest, since she never will. She'll never make it to prom, graduate from high school or get married and have a family of her own. By your sending this to as many people as possible, you can give her and her family a little hope, because with every name that this is sent to, The American Cancer Society will donate 3 cents per name to her treatment and recovery plan. One guy sent this to 500 people!!!!
PLEASE PASS IT ON

Quote of The Day
I am strong because I am weak.I am beautiful because I know my flaws.I am a lover because I am a fighter.I am fearless because I have been afraid.I am wise because I have been foolish.…and I can laugh because I’ve known sadness.

Quote of The Day
A strong woman works out everyday to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape
A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.
A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.
A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realises life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings, and capitalises on them
A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.
A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape
A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.
A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…

Quote of The Day
The Bend in the Road
Sometimes we come to life's crossroads
And we view what we think is the end.
But God has a much wider vision
And he knows that it's only a bend-
The road will go on and get smoother
And after we've stopped for a rest,
The path that lies hidden beyond us
Is often the path that is best.
So rest and relax and grow stronger,
Let go and let God share your load
And have faith in a brighter tomorrow-
You've just come to a bend in the road.
Sometimes we come to life's crossroads
And we view what we think is the end.
But God has a much wider vision
And he knows that it's only a bend-
The road will go on and get smoother
And after we've stopped for a rest,
The path that lies hidden beyond us
Is often the path that is best.
So rest and relax and grow stronger,
Let go and let God share your load
And have faith in a brighter tomorrow-
You've just come to a bend in the road.

I Am A Christian
Carol Wimmer
When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not shouting, "I've been saved!"
I'm whispering, "I get lost! That's why I chose this way"
When I say, "I am a Christian," I don't speak with human pride
I'm confessing that I stumble — needing God to be my guide
When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not trying to be strong
I'm professing that I'm weak and pray for strength to carry on
When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not bragging of success
I'm admitting that I've failed and cannot ever pay the debt
When I say, "I am a Christian," I don't think I know it all
I submit to my confusion asking humbly to be taught
When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not claiming to be perfect
My flaws are far too visible but God believes I'm worth it
When I say, "I am a Christian," I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartache which is why I seek His name
When I say, "I am a Christian," I do not wish to judge
I have no authority — I only know I'm loved

Quote of The Day
We can’t choose our parents or siblings, but we can choose our friends and life partners. So choose wisely. And, if you want to keep your loved ones in your life, your best chance is to communicate with them. Discuss any problems you have with them as soon as they appear. Ignoring even little issues and letting them pile up into a mountain of insurmountable bad feelings is a sure way to kill any relationship. When we stop communicating, we will eventually stop caring.

Quote of The Day
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you
Treat other people with the concern and kindness you would like them to show toward you. This saying has come to be called the Golden Rule.

Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home.

CHEROKEE WISDOM
This is a native American tale: One day an Old Cherokee man was teaching his grandson about life.
"A struggle is going on inside me," he said to the youngster. "It is a tough one and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is envy, greed, guilt, resentment, self-pity, lies, and false pride. The other is goodness - he is joy, serenity, humility, benevolence, truth and compassion."
"The same fight is going on inside you and inside every other person, too."
"But tell me, which wolf will win?" the grandson asked.
"The one you feed," came the reply.

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul.
And sings the tune
Without the words,
and never stops at all.

Quote of The Day
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes in to us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it pours itself in our hands and hopes we've learnt something from yesterday.
